Weight loss: find what is missing, not only what is too much

Your patients make efforts, sometimes go from diet to diet, and their weight does not move. Often they are not eating too much: they lack nutrients their body needs. Nectar helps you see it, and show them.

Built with dietitians • Hosted in France, HDS-certified

At a glance

  • 70+ nutrient analysis to spot insufficient intake
  • Photo diary: real intake, no retyping
  • Recipes rich in the nutrients that are missing
  • Messaging and AI follow-up to stay connected between appointments

When weight does not move, the answer is often in what is missing.

Effort without results

The patient follows the plan, eats less, and yet nothing moves. Discouragement sets in.

Invisible gaps

Several vitamins and minerals are involved in energy metabolism. When they are lacking, weight loss can stall, even in a calorie deficit.

Searching blind

Without a real picture of intake, you test leads for months before finding what is holding things back.

Identify imbalances, unblock the situation

We objectify what is missing, prioritise together, step by step.

AI follow-up

Where your patient stands, before they walk in

Two hundred records, three weeks since you last opened this one, the patient arrives in five minutes.

One click, and Nectar does the follow-up you would have done by hand with more time: where the patient stands, what deserves your attention, whether the diary is usable.

  • Diary adherence measured: volume, completeness, continuity
  • Every point cites a dated data source, clickable in the record
  • The points you keep drop into the consultation report, one click each
  • To-do list on your dashboard: nothing slips between two consultations

No food, no calorie is sent to the model. AI follow-up reads how the diary was filled in and how the patient felt, on pseudonymised data.

Balanced eating

Dinner photo · diary
I gave in to the cheese tonight, have I ruined everything?

18:42

Not at all! Your week has been very steady. Keep the cheese: it counts towards your calcium. Let's talk about it on Thursday.

Next day · 09:15

Thanks, that's reassuring!
Meal plan

Food equivalents, so your patient can choose

Under each food in the plan, offer alternatives: “100 g of salmon, or 85 g of chicken, or 80 g of tuna”. Nectar computes the equivalent quantity on the nutrient you choose, and your patient finds them in their app.

  • Quantity computed on protein, carbs, fat, calories or another nutrient
  • Equivalents follow when you change the quantity of the reference food
  • Shown in the patient app and in the report PDF
  • Available on every plan

No bans, just options: you set the quantities, your patient chooses. The nutrition analysis stays computed on the reference food.

Lunch

  • Salmon100 g
    or chicken85 g
    or tuna80 g
  • Basmati rice150 g
  • Courgettes200 g

Equivalents computed on protein

“[...] Look at biotin for example: we look at its role, we see that it is involved in fat metabolism [...] and that motivates them to understand why it matters to eat at least a minimum.”
